The proper slide can solve the challenge
Shoes are a utility item that we use on a daily basis. This results in a natural wear and tear, which requires a lot of the material from which the shoe is made. Almost regardless of how good the material is and how good the craftsmanship is behind it, it is inevitable that the extensive daily use of shoes wears down the material and over time it will be worn enough that the shoe can no longer be used. The solution – the proper linear slide
To protect the shoe, Imbox Protection has developed a spray that is applied to the shoe and provides optimal protection. The process takes place in a closed box and for that purpose, in addition to the box itself, linear slides were needed so that the protective spray could be applied easily and smoothly to the shoes.
The patented solution, in all its simplicity, consists of the shoes being placed on the fitted drawer and simply pushed into the closed box. Here, Hans Buch’s supplier of linear slides, Accuride, was the natural choice, because they produce some of the market’s best and most innovative slidie solutions. Choosing the right slide depends on a number of things.
For this solution, a linear slide of the type 3832SC from Accuride was chosen, which is a self-closing slide with a holding function that ensures that the tray closes completely during the application process. It also has the function that it can be easily adjusted in height, so that it can be adjusted 100 % after installation. Last but not least, 100 % extension of the slide ensures that the IMBOX user can easily place the shoes on the tray, which can easily be pushed into the box.
