Fuel and lubricating oil treatment systems
Reduce your fuel costs and CO2 emissions with fuel and lubrication oil treatment systems from Hans Buch Marine. The high-quality solutions optimize the fuel process and improve combustion.
Everything from sensors to complete systems
To protect the lubrication oil system on engines, gears, and compressors from the risk of water ingress, we also supply sensors and monitors for water-in-oil content.
Here you can also get complete systems for monitoring, controlling, and reporting fuel performance.
Automatic self-cleaning filters
One of the most popular solutions is our self-cleaning filters for lubrication oil, fuel oil, and water within marine and offshore from the world’s leading manufacturer FILTREX. With more than 40 years of experience in filtration, FILTREX delivers automatic self-cleaning filters for many different applications such as ballast water, engines, industrial applications, etc.
The range covers:
Automatic self-cleaning filters for lubrication oil
FILTREX automatic self-cleaning filters for lubrication oil protect the engine’s internal parts from potential failures. The filter is based on continuous backflushing using the filtered oil supplied to the hydraulic motor. This makes it independent of external power sources.
These automatic filters remove even the finest particles such as carbon residues. It thereby monitors the lubrication oil quality to protect the engine.
The FILTREX lubrication oil filter is very robust and takes up very limited space. The filter can be delivered with a Sludge Recovery Unit, which definitively removes impurities from the LO circuit.
Fuel oil filtration
FILTREX automatic self-cleaning filters for fuel oil protect and extend the life of the diesel engine’s injection pumps, exhaust valves, and piston rings.
The FILTREX Fuel Oil filter is very robust and takes up very limited space. This is perfect for installation in fuel pressure systems.
The backflushing filters are driven by an electric motor with cleaning based on pressure drop or timer. It can be installed either on the supply or booster side. A small amount of backflushing fluid ensures limited waste and thus also large savings during operation.
