Master 35® Impact Wrench Machine
Master 35 has become synonymous with gasoline-powered screw machines and impact wrench machines, and this robust machine is widely used in the railway sector and for heavier industrial tasks. The machine’s characteristics are reliability, high performance, and long lifespan for both the machine itself and its spare parts. With a weight of only 17.5 kg, it is a flexible and very reliable tool that can be used for both smaller and larger tasks.
A wide range of accessories such as the specially developed Tool Carrier is offered for the machine, ensuring that work can be performed easily and safely with minimal strain on the user.

Master 35® Low Emission Impact Wrench Specifications
- Weight: 17.5 kg
- Torque: 500-1350 Nm
- Length: 570 mm
- Height: 270 mm
- Width: 425 mm

Master 35® Tool Carrier
Keep track of the tool while working on the track bed and achieve increased productivity and operator comfort with a reduction of vibrations by up to 30 percent. The Master 35 Tool Carrier is an accessory specifically designed for the Master 35 impact wrench machine from Airtec, but it can also be used for other tools for production and renovation work on the railway network.
The Master 35 Tool Carrier is placed on the track bed, where the impact wrench machine is mounted and dismounted within minutes without the use of other tools. With an adjustable arm and the possibility of a tilt of up to 5 degrees, you get flexible accessories to help solve most tasks. Choose between three categories for both standard, narrow, and wide rails.

Screw Heads for Master 35®
Hans Buch stocks a complete range of heads for common tasks. The heads are available in both standard and high versions, where the high is particularly suitable for work on switch tracks, where space is typically limited. Heads can be custom-produced in different inch sizes, lengths, and dimensions as needed.
Note that the heads that fit directly on the Master 35 are 1″ (25×25 mm). We also offer heads for ¾” and 22×22 mm, and we can supply heads for other screw machines upon request. Hans Buch naturally supplies both types, as well as an adapter that allows the use of 22×22 mm heads on Master 35 and vice versa. The special butterfly head is particularly effective for catching the head of sleeper screws.

Drills and Drill Accessories for Master 35®
Master 35 is not just an impressive sleeper screw machine. It can quickly be transformed into a sleeper drill machine. Different types of sleepers require different sizes of drills. Hans Buch can supply drills in many dimensions for both azobé, oak, and beech.
Our drills create a conical entry in the hole, ensuring that neither the sleeper nor the screw is overloaded during installation. The same drill has a length of the auger of 140 mm, meaning you do not end up drilling into the ballast and thus avoid damage to the drill.

Special Drills for Master 35®
Over time, special variants have been developed based on specific customer requests, and these are also stocked as before by Hans Buch. We have drills in Ø14/Ø16/Ø18, and they can fit many different machines if the right top is used. If special drills are desired that are not in our range, we can supply these according to your specific requirements.

Adapters and Clips for Master 35®
To make tools and accessories as flexible as possible, Hans Buch supplies adapters that make it possible to use our tops across machines and brands.
Master 35 normally requires tops with a 25×25 mm hole, other screw machines require tops with a ¾” or 22×22 mm hole. With these adapters, it is possible to use our tops and drills for other machines.

Machines for Rail Handling
In addition to the Master 35 impact wrench machine, Hans Buch also supplies a range of efficient and reliable machines for renovation and expansion tasks on the railway network. Our range covers tools and machines that can lift, move, pull, and grind rails, as well as cleaning the track bed of excess soil and stones with, for example, sweeping and suction.

PM-20 Rail Handling Machine
This rail handling machine can be mounted directly on an excavator and has rail clamps and rail guiding functions. The necessary coupling plate is welded onto the unit depending on the model of the rototilt.
The highest recommended rail length is 150 m when using the rail clamp function. The rail guiding function is based on rolling “plates” clamped under the rail head. After clamping, the operator can guide the rail to the desired location. As an extra safety measure, the unit is equipped with two double-lock valves.

KT10 Rail Puller
This tool is used to pull rails on the track. It can lift up to 10 tons, allowing it to be used for a wide range of rail lengths. This corresponds to a length of 166 meters of a UIC 60 rail (60 kg/meter), although lengths of up to 120 meters are typically most common.

PT10 Rail Lifter
This rail lifter is specially designed for busy railway tracks. The handle has a manual pump with an overpressure valve. The hydraulic hoses are equipped with quick-release couplings, allowing them to be released quickly, even under pressure. The jack’s height is low enough to allow train passage. The lifting capacity is 10,000 kg, but this rail lifter can be supplied with a lifting capacity of up to 15,000 kg upon request.

D5 Rail Profile Grinder
This rail profile grinder is available with either a gasoline or electric motor. The gasoline engine is an air-cooled, 2-stroke 4.9 kW engine with 4500 revolutions per minute, while the electric motor is 4 kW with 3000 revolutions per minute, 400 V, and 50 Hz.
Here you get a frame-welded steel tube construction that protects and stabilizes the unit, ensuring that the grinding stones remain in the same position during work. The frame can be adjusted in three positions for grinding the rail surface’s tread, surface, edge, and side. The unit is equipped with insulated side guide flanges and wheels to prevent electric shocks.

TC-2 Ballast Vacuum Cleaner
Popular ballast vacuum cleaner widely used in, among other places, Denmark and Germany. TC-2 is easy to handle and can quickly and efficiently vacuum and unload ballast on-site or in containers. It can be used for all types of tasks that require ballast movement, and due to its minimal noise level, it can also be used in areas where low noise levels are required.

SH2 Ballast Sweeper
The sweeper removes excess ballast from the top of the sleepers and pushes it to the chosen side of the track. The machine uses hydraulic power from the excavator to perform the task. Width and depth can be adjusted for each rail section. The unit also has a mechanical adjustment to reduce wear on the brushes. There is also a rubber insulation in front to reduce noise and to reduce the risk of flying stones.
