Windscreen wipers
When operating in harsh weather conditions at sea, clear visibility is essential. We supply wiper systems from Wynn – a recognised supplier of high-quality solutions for the marine and offshore industries. With a wiper system from Wynn, we guarantee a durable solution that performs optimally in all climates and weather conditions.
Based on the vessel’s drawings, the wipers are tailored to your specific requirements in terms of window size and angle.
Wynn Heavy-Duty Straight-Line wipers are among the most advanced windscreen wiper systems with linear movement. The wipers are optimised for marine applications and other specialised uses.
There are two models: Type D, which has an externally mounted motor, and Type C, which has an internally mounted motor. Straight-Line wipers are generally the best solution for cleaning rectangular windows. For large windows, Wynn’s Heavy-Duty wiper arms and blades can clean panes over 2 metres high.
Wynn’s straight-line wipers are designed to provide maximum visibility in all weather conditions. They can operate at temperatures as low as -40 °C and in extreme tropical conditions.
Installation is straightforward, and a wide range of mounting options is available. This makes the wipers suitable for both new installations and the replacement of existing systems – regardless of the variant. Wynn wipers can be retrofitted without replacing the ECU, making the installation process easy and accessible.
