In collaboration with Albertslund Municipality, Hans Buch has installed a new Thunderstorm Detection System at Badesøen Outdoor Pool. The solution gives staff local insight into lightning and thunderstorm activity, enabling them to respond faster, inform visitors in good time and make decisions based on more reliable evidence.

Hans Buch has installed a Thunderstorm Detection System at Badesøen. The system provides local detection and warnings for lightning, thunderstorms and hazardous weather.
The solution uses BTD-200 technology, which measures electric fields and charged precipitation. This makes it possible to detect lightning activity at a distance and provide early warnings before hazardous weather reaches the area.
The system can detect different types of lightning activity, giving staff a more complete picture of local weather conditions. It also provides a documented basis for decision-making that can be used in operations, emergency response and evaluation.
