Hans Buch 2024: Stronger market pressure and increased presence
Competence enhancement and an incisive profile create optimism in Hans Buch, which in 2023 underwent significant changes with new business areas and consolidations throughout the organisation. The culture creates the results.
A strong culture creates the results at Hans Buch in 2024. Not the other way around. This is the mantra that the entire staff at Hans Buch bring into the new year.
– In 2023, we have worked to ensure that our culture is the driving force behind the results, Hans Buch’s CEO, Martin de Feuth Jensen, says.
The culture is created with an even closer collaboration on technical solutions internally and interdisciplinary between Hans Buch’s specialists. At the same time, it is the ambition to move even closer to the customers and suppliers in the supply chains in the various markets in which Hans Buch operates, says Hans Buch’s CEO, Martin de Feuth Jensen.
– We enter 2024 with great optimism and with a strong belief in the high level of professionalism and expertise that our entire workforce possesses. We have high expectations for 2024, which entails an increased market pressure and an increased presence, he says.

Clever consolidations lead to incisive industry-specific market adaptations
The expectations for 2024 comes after a 2023 with many changes, which had the overall aim of making Hans Buch even more adaptable to market demands. In other words, Hans Buch is organised from an “outside-in” perspective, Martin de Feuth Jensen explains.
In the past year, Hans Buch welcomed several new employees, who overall increase the staffing in the field and in the markets; those who are in direct contact with the customers. More hands are required to follow the customer demand and the changes and developments that the wider industry and the transport and infrastructure sectors are going through.
– The foundation for 2024 has been created with internal adaptations through competence enhancement, consolidations, and increased staffing through 2023. In all modesty, I believe that we are significantly stronger organisationally and that we have gained some skilled profiles in-house, supplementing an already strong group of employees, says Hans Buch’s CEO.
Sustainability: Solutions that last for longer than today and tomorrow
2023 also represented an increased focus on sustainability as a common denominator for the entire organisation at Hans Buch internally, as well as externally in the value chain. Hans Buch must be more than the preferred supplier of technical solutions and high quality, Martin de Feuth Jensen explains.
– We must become even better at helping each other to conceive forward-looking and green solutions in the industry.
– We do this primarily by finding solutions for our customers that not only optimize energy consumption and reduce the CO2 footprint in operations, but we must also continue to find solutions that work for longer than just today and tomorrow, he says.
Quality-stamped business operations in Hans Buch
At Hans Buch, we operate based on internationally recognised standards for good business management and with continuous efforts to maintain and expand the range of certifications.
In 2024, Hans Buch celebrates the 30th anniversary of the certification ISO 9001 (quality management) and also has the certification ISO 14001 (environmental management). The ambition and the goal is to add another certification to the portfolio in 2024 with intensive preparations to achieve ISO 45001 (work environment management).
Hans Buch now consists of two strong units
With the staffing in place, the open culture and sustainable solutions must be cultivated even more in 2024. Hans Buch now consists of two stronger divisions following the organisational changes, which both internally and between them ensure incisive, customer-adapted solutions going forward.
The Industry Division
In the Industry Division there is a large product portfolio which, with the close interdisciplinary cooperation of our specialists, serves the broad industry with industry-specific solutions. It forms the basis for unique compositions and customized solutions that our customers already benefit from. With the industry-oriented approach, the Automation & Robotics business area was launched and added to the portfolio of industrial solutions.
The Transportation & Infrastructure Division
With a merger of the forces from Marine & Offshore, Railway and Meteorology in 2023, our specialists gathered to create strong synergy effects. This was exemplified as early as the summer of 2023, when Hans Buch won a large tender to supply LED lights for DSB’s large IC3 train fleet with lighting originally designed for marine and offshore, which has attracted great interest from several others in various sectors.
