Hans Buch’s history spans over 100 years
On October 1st, 1918, the engineer Hans Johannes Buch opened his industrial business Hans Buch & Co. at the historic address Nyhavn 43 in Copenhagen.
Much has changed over the years, but one thing remains firmly anchored in the sales and engineering company Hans Buch A/S to this day. In 1918, as well as today, Hans Buch’s ambition is to focus on customers’ challenges and provide the right customer-tailored solutions, allowing customers to concentrate on what they do best.
Throughout the first decades of the 20th century, the company grows and moves to different addresses in and around Copenhagen, including Farvergade, Havnegade, and close to Copenhagen Zoo on Frederiksberg after World War II. In the post-war period, Hans Buch & Co. was, among other things, a distributor for the English radar manufacturer Decca Radar.
